The momentum is striking. Everywhere, Vision 2030 – the development plan launched nearly a decade ago by the Saudi government to diversify the country’s economy – takes concrete form through new cities, massive infrastructure projects, and an industrialization drive advancing at full speed. One reality stands out: water is the linchpin. Whether to produce, recycle, optimize, or reduce environmental impact, the needs are immense and urgent. Saudi Arabia already hosts some of the world’s largest desalination systems and is now looking for solutions that are more energy-efficient, more resilient, and more sustainable.
It is in this context that our breakthrough technology – cryo-separation, which desalinates water through cold, with controlled energy consumption and no brine discharge – offers a credible and sustainable alternative for a market in search of new approaches. All the stakeholders we met – industrial players, infrastructure operators, urban developers, environmental actors – highlighted their strong interest in this ability to reconcile performance, efficiency, and positive environmental impact.

A precisely orchestrated accompaniment that allowed us to maximize every exchange and gain a clear understanding of the territory’s real needs. At every stage, the same conclusion emerged: Saudi Arabia’s potential is immense – both in the scale of its projects and in its determination to integrate innovative technologies within very short timeframes.
Several concrete avenues for collaboration and synergy have already been identified. Some discussions are underway, others will be structured in the coming weeks. Saudi Arabia thus appears as an open-air laboratory for deploying our cutting-edge French solution.
