We are Seawards !

Who are we?

Our founders

Hervé de Lanversin

After having spent a large part of his professional career at Goldman Sachs and Société Générale, Hervé de Lanversin set up his own Mergers and Acquisitions consulting firm HDL capital. Hervé de Lanversin has chosen to get involved in the preservation of water resources. A long-time associate of Hubert Montcoudiol, with whom he worked on an agro tech project, he is co-founder of the start-up Seanergy Desalisation (SEAWARDS) in Marseille.

An evolution thought as an implication for the common good. “I became aware of the importance of the commitment to increase the resource and the need to develop industrial processes to meet a demand that affects all countries in the world.”

Hubert Montcoudiol

Hubert Montcoudiol has worked for several investment banks, Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, with international responsibilities in Asia, the United States and Europe. Consultant and founder of several start-ups in sports tech, agro-tech and fin-tech, he co-founded with Hervé de Lanversin, a first structure dedicated to the preservation of the organic composition of fruits before creating SEAWARDS in Marseille in 2021.

A new entrepreneurial path resulting from an awareness of the urgency to act on a large scale to preserve water resources and a desire to create a fair and profitable business model…

Our engineers

Pascal Malesinski

Joining the Seawards team on October 10, Clément Bernard, from Manosque, studied for a DUT in mechanical production Engineering in Toulon, then continued his studies with Mechanical Design Engineering at Polytechnic University of Tours.

Involved in R&D, he is delighted with his first job at the age of 25, at the end of his studies. Why Seawards? “It’s an essential project for life, a new way of doing and conceiving desalination.

SEAWARDS technology is less polluting than those existing, and consumes less energy. The start-up aspect convinced me, as I enjoy working in close-knit teams. It’s an ideal starting point for a project to grow.”

Bastien Guillot

Bastien Guillot joined Seawards at the beginning of January, thanks to his skills in mechanics and industrial design. He completed a BTS in Industrial Product Design in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. “At the age of 45, I’d already worked in the pharmaceutical and plastics industries, so I was keen to develop my skills in a new position. The Seawards proposal appealed to me because of the nobility of the cause. The start-up format also has its advantages as well. It’s a risk, but I want to give the idea a chance. The company’s project appeals to me. For once, I’m working in an environment that allows me to change things in the right way and fight the good fight…”.
