Florent Jourdon “Making a machine autonomous and efficient”.

Florent Jourdon enrolled at the Arts et Métiers engineering school in Aix-en-Provence , specializing in electrical engineering, in a work-study program with the Vatron Mau company, where he discovered automation.

At the end of these three years, the young man obtained his engineering diploma in electrical engineering and automation. What does he enjoy doing? Making a machine efficient and autonomous, improving processes and making operations as easy as possible from a control panel or computer. He then spent 18 months with CyXplus.

His current choice and his convictions in favor of the environment led him, at the age of 24, to join Seawards“ I wasn’t looking to join a large group, but rather to be part of a small team, to progress, to be at the heart of innovation and R&D, where it all happens”. Seawards’ project is totally in line with his convictions, which lead him to defend a cause of general interest, that of water…

Another advantage is the fact of being part of a young and dynamic team. His role is to automate the prototype and industrialize it, to make the machine automated and efficient…

Several timescales are in view, with work to be carried out in stages: first on the machine in the laboratory, then on the prototype and, within 1 year, on the demonstration model.
