Nugget of the territory, ACWA Robotics has just won 3 prizes at the CES in Las Vegas, the big high tech show.

A total success that reflects the impact of the Aix startup’s original technology. It consists of a mechanical crawler of 90 cm, composed of 3 blocks equipped with sensors and cameras.

Its purpose: to detect corrosion and leaks autonomously. This makes sense, since on average 30% of water is lost in the pipes. The robot makes it possible to know where it is relevant to intervene, even to renew. A unique added value for water network managers and a real opening in the fight against the loss of the resource.

After successful tests in Corsica, Acwa Robotics has an office in Bastia. The startup has just been awarded (like Seawards) by Capital&Innovation of Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence. It plans to launch its process in less than a year on the Canal de Provence and is already considering an international future.
